Columbia

Columbia is the state capital of South Carolina and is where we have chosen to be married before our family and friends. The venue, The Lace House, is in downtown Columbia, across the street from the Governors Mansion.

State Hosue

This is the seat of the South Carolina government with its copper dome. The chambers, halls and exterior are all free to the public and there are tours available.

South Carolina State Museum

This museum is housed in a 19th century mill, which chronicles the history of the state along with a 4D interactive Theater

Columbia Museum of Art

Riverbanks Zoo and Botanical Gardens

170 acre Zoo, Aquarium, and Botanical Garden along the Saluda River with opportunity to feed giraffe and zip line.

Soda City Market

Greenville

Greenville is where we will be starting married life. Greenville is nestled against the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the 4th fastest growing city in America with lots of southern charm and hospitality. The quaint restored downtown area has cafes, boutiques and an abundant and tasty restaurant scene. Falls Park sits downtown as well with a suspension bridge over a tumbling waterfall. If you are flying into Greenville International Airport (GSP) it is 1 hour 30 minutes to the Wedding Venue.

Falls Park on the Reedy

Charlotte

Charlotte, North Carolina is the largest city in the state and lies right on the South Carolina border. It is a business and financial hub along with a university town. It is often referred to as “The Queen City” named after King George’s wife when he ruled the colonies. Charlotte has a big social scene, beautiful parks and picturesque lakes. If you are flying into Charlotte International Airport it is a 1 hour and 25 minute drive to the Wedding Venue.

Billy Graham Library

A 40,000 square feet experience of the life and legacy of the evangelist Billy Graham. There is a 90-minute tour and an opportunity to visit his original childhood home and burial site.

Charleston

Charleston is quintessential South Carolina. Charleston is a port city whose history goes back to 1670. Cobblestone streets, horse drawn carriages and multi colored antebellum homes define it. It is a city rich in history, charm and amazing food. If you fly into Charleston International Airport (CHS) it is a 1 hour and 50 minute drive to the Wedding Venue.
