The ceremony will start promptly at 2pm therefore, guests are advised to arrive at 1:30pm. Those who arrive after 2pm will not be able to enter the grounds until the ceremony has finished. For those who are staying onsite, the cottages are self check in from 1pm. Feel free to arrive from this time to get settled prior to the ceremony.
We are only able to accommodate guests who have been formally invited. If you received a plus one, they will be named on your invitation have been invited to the wedding.
This is a child free wedding. We hope you understand and are able to find a way to have them cared for and attend the wedding.
This is a dog friendly venue! Sensible dogs that are kept on leads will be welcomed to the drinks reception but we ask that there are no dogs at the ceremony or wedding breakfast. All of the rooms onsite are dog friendly, therefore it is possible to leave the dogs in the rooms during this time. Any damage made by dogs will need to be covered by the owners.
No, we kindly ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. We want you to be present with us in the moment and we have a professional photographer and videographer capturing the ceremony for us.
There will be lots of alcohol provided during the day including wine during the meal however, additional drinks from the bar will not be included.
Yes, fingers crossed the sun will be shining! Both the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. Please make sure to dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day.
Yes, there is ample free parking for all!
We would love to see our friends and family dress to impress. Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. No jeans or trainers. There is gravel and grass therefore, no stilettoes. No white dresses otherwise you will be asked to leave!
Please the schedule for the plan of the day. After the ceremony there will be reception drinks and canapes outdoors with entertainment. During this period, the bride and groom will be with their photographer and finalising the documentation.
There is a limited number of rooms onsite however, we will do our best to accommodate as many people as possible. We have booked out all of the rooms for the onsite accommodation. The cost for the onsite accommodation needs to be transferred to Jordan or Adam. As we receive RSVPs we will update you as soon as possible, please contact us with your preferences is you would like to stay onsite or locally in a hotel so we can organise the rooms we do have available The cost of onsite accommodation for one night on 9th August 2025 is £70 per person and includes breakfast on the 10th August 2025 in the Orangery between 08:30am and 09:30am. Check out is at 10am. Those who are not staying onsite are advised to book in with the Premier Inn in Frome. We will be organising a night shuttle between Elmhay and the Premier Inn in Frome for those who require it.
