Hello my name is Jamesha Nicole Mack aka Jam aka Nikki. I am one of the maid of honors celebrating the beautiful union of Diandra and Darnell. Diandra and I go back pretty much our entire life, not only are we bestfriends from the womb to the tomb but we are also cousins and twin flames. My Libra twin. Our story has been full of exciting memories, supernatural tendencies, hustle mindsets, and a fearless prerogative. We have held each others hands through trials and tribulations, loss, and challenges. But we have also cheered each other on through our highs, celebrated the small and big wins, and listened to each others dreams with undeniable faith in one another. Not only is Diandra my bestfriend but also my business partner, climbing new heights with every exciting idea that crosses our minds. It has been amazing going through elementary school, middle school, high school, and college together. Now it is a pleasure to watch Diandra sore into the next stage of her life as a wife. Cynthia here..bestie of the bride. Our initial introduction was in 1999 when we were in the same Girl Scout Troop. I didn’t speak to anyone in the troop..ever..so Diandra thought I was mute. Fast forward to high school and I still don’t speak to her because I thought she was too boujee. I still think this by the way. However, something changes senior year when we end up in the same physics class. Something clicks and we become inseparable. This is where our friendship journey began. We have encountered so many firsts together, from navigating our first heartbreaks to her delivering my first godson. I am in awe of Diandra’s strength and ability to overcome everything that has ever tried to stop her and for this reason I know she will make an amazing wife. Hi I’m Treashur aka Keyshia Cole aka Tiki aka what only my best friend calls me “Olivia”. I’ve known Diandra aka who I call “DD”, the bride for about 25+ years. We met at summer camp one year and found out we lived in the same cul-de-sac and ever since then, the rest is history. This woman has been with me through all my trials and tribulations and always there when I needed her the most. She has an amazing spirit and an awesome personality, and that’s why I call her my sister. We’ve both grown so much since then and had our godchildren and now she’s moving on to being an incredible wife to Darnell. Me and Darnell aka “Cuz” go all way back to the year 2000 meeting for the first time in Mrs. Henninger class at Walnut Hill Elementary. Me and Darnell has been through scary/crazy times such the infamous almost “expelled” from Vernon John’s Middle School to Simply riding around doing car karaoke planning our goals in life, and I’m proud of my brother for fulfilling one of his goals to get married. Hey!! I’m Brittany “BP” Pollard or better known as “sissy”, that’s what Diandra calls me. Diandra and I go back to 2010. We met on the volleyball court at ODU. I was a freshman and new to Virginia and she welcomed me with open arms. Since then, Diandra has been my “big sister”. She has been there for all the up, down, and crazy moments in my life. I am thankful to have Diandra in my life! She is one of a kind!! She is amazing all around and I am happy to be apart of this amazing new journey in her life! I know she will be an amazing wife.

I have been knowing Darnell for about 9 years now we go back to the good ol Am fam days. We won a championship together 5 deep, no subs, if we got tired we took a sip of water and kept playing. Diandra was there you can ask her if you don't believe me. I like to have a good time and I workout regularly. I like sitting by a camp fire and long walks on the beach.

Hello, I'm Cecilie Taylor, from Cleveland, Ohio. I am one of the bridesmaids! D and I go back to my freshman year at ODU. I was introduced to D by another bridesmaid Brittany Pollard. Of course the introduction was on the volleyball court. Ever since then we've had an eventful friendship. Our birthdays are even next to each other (Oct. 1). From birthday weekeds, including Jamesha (Sept. 30), to traveling up and down 64/95 to out of the country trips. We even had our lives flash before our eyes a couple of times (no lie it was a big ass spider). When you go through a near death experience, of course you would be asked to be a bridesmaid 😂. D will forever be my "lightskinded friend" Love ya!

Hey my name is DJ, from Virginia Beach. D and I met after transferring back home to ODU. We've had too many memories together but nothing beats the day she was supposed to learn how to cook a steak (side eye)--I'm still trying to figure out how her location was found. Me and Darnell have been extremely close since the day we met - It was as if we had known each other for years. We take huge pride in being able to lean on each for support and being an outlet for each other. I'll have a drink waiting for you on the next balcony! Much love to the both of y'all.

Hi my name is Alexis Averette and I’ve known Diandra “D” since 2010. We met my freshman year of college when she personally recruited me to come play volleyball with her and “Hulk Squad”. Of course we dominated the court but most importantly we forged a lifetime of sisterhood. Throughout our college years we became extremely close, we were more than friends, we were family. We have cheered for each other in all of our accomplishments, and picked each other up in those low moments. D has always been the glue that bonds our friend group together. Her unique ability to just get along with everyone is truly a gift. It was no wonder everyone loved Darnell when we met him, they were just alike. Darnell is so kind, and loves him some D! Darnell and D are the kind of couple that just works! Darnell automatically got points with me when I saw how amazing he is as a father not just to Carter, but to Junior. Stepping up to the role he didn’t have to is a rare character trait, but one of my favorites about him. D and I have walked side by side through so many phases of life, but to stand with her as she says her vows is one of the best walks I’ll take, and I’m so honored. Congratulations to the soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Jenkins, may this union be a blessed one, a loving one, and most importantly a fun one. Love you both!!!

Hi, I’m Jocelyn and word on the curb is I’m really the one who stole Diandra’s heart, eyelashes, hair and nails! Our friendship was initiated/ignited over facetime, both us of us wearing synthetic wigs while she vacationed in Jamacia, and I sat through a winter snowstorm. Since then, it’s blossomed and flourished so fast its almost unbelievable. I admire the genuine care and work she puts into making her family happy and comfortable, her resilience to change, and the way she unapologetically chooses to live life to the fullest. I’m happy that she has a partner who loves and adores her as much as he does and I’m excited for them to continue spending the rest of their lives together as a family.

I’m Nate and I’m Diandra’s little cousin. I work as a paramedic in an emergency department in Orlando, and am currently in the process of applying to medical school. I hope to become an ER doctor someday soon. Obviously since Diandra is my cousin I’ve known her my whole life. I feel like her and Darnell are a great fit and really compliment each other well, so I’m very excited to be a part of their wedding. Darnell has shown himself to be an outstanding guy with great morals, principles, discipline, and respect. To be honest, it already feels like he’s apart of the family, so I’m just happy that they’re finally making things official. I’m protective over my cousin, but I know that she is in good hands with Darnell and I wish them nothing but the best in their life together.

Hi my name is Crystal, I've known the Bride since 2019. We became friends at RVC and met at drop in league. She came up to me and asked me did I wanted to play I said ok. Next thing I know I’m on a team and setting 😅 that’s a different story 😂. I'm a really shy and reserved person so her approaching me meant a lot. I can honestly say Diandra is one of sweetest and most welcoming person I've ever met. I’ve met the groom at RVC, he was there watching D play . I really love how much he supports her and, come on, who doesn’t love black love. First thing I thought when I met Darnell, he’s pretty cool guy. We start talking about basketball and talking junk about the game lol . After playing a season together Diandra invited to her Halloween party. That Halloween party was the start of a beautiful friendship. I can honestly say I gained a teammate and friend for life from volleyball. l am so excited to be able to be apart of the most important day of her life!
