Becca and Nate found each other on Bumble. They only lived 5 minutes away from each other and never knew it. Becca was drawn to his profile because he called himself a “nerd” and held a bass guitar in his profile picture. Nate was immediately attracted… beauty, brains, AND a fan of rock music! He began concocting a fool-proof plan to trick her into dating him. It worked…

Although Saw had just released in theaters, Nate wanted to watch something more romantic… They decided to watch a zombie movie instead! He was nearly late to the date and forgot his mask in the car… But Becca somehow trusted him enough to walk to his car in the dark while he described the research he conducted on aliens that day. Becca then ordered a water at the concession stand to impress Nate (she wanted a Dr. Pepper).

Becca and Nate met for fro-yo at Menchie’s. They discussed Dream Theater’s discography in great detail. It was then that Becca knew they could talk to each other for hours.

Becca asked Nate to move in with her and she thought she scared him off… Luckily Nate was just playing it cool, and he moved in with her and the pups!

Becca had Emma before she met Nate, and Luna was just a tiny puppy when they started dating. Becca is usually the one with puppy fever, but Nate’s the one who wanted to add to the family. Welcome home, Lola!

Nate and Becca grew up in New Mexico, but always knew they wanted to venture out. Although it was scary, they made the move out to Colorado, learning that they can do anything as a team!

Becca and Nate purchased their first home together. Emma, Luna, and Lola love their new backyard!

Nate proposed to Becca on Christmas Day, cozy in their pajamas and surrounded by their puppies Emma, Luna, and Lola. Becca began crying as soon as she saw the box, and Nate even got teary eyed! The dogs were mostly confused and focused on opening their stockings…
