We are getting married ya'll!

We met on Whisper, an app for sharing secrets. I was sitting at home alone watching Pretty Woman and posted one of my favorite quotes from the movie. Ryan responded to it almost immediately and told me how much he loved the movie and that he didn't look like the kind of person who would watch Pretty Woman. I got frustrated with him because there is no stereotype for liking a movie and then deleted his messages. He must have known I was worth it because he kept coming back for more. After deleting his messages a few more times we started really talking. After a few months of round the clock talking on the phone and Facetiming, he came to visit. That was two years ago! Best decision we ever made!

I knew Ryan was going to propose. I am not good at surprises and I finally got him to tell me he was going to propose. We talked about having a big party with family and friends in our backyard and he would propose to me in front of everyone. About a week before the party he said he couldn't do it and was nervous and would think of something else. I came home one day after a long day at work and he had candles lit EVERYWHERE, music playing, flowers and champagne waiting for me when I walked through the door. I knew immediately. What I didn't know was he was recording it with his phone! In this video you can hear me talk about our cat who was sick at the time and I asked him if he was still getting sick. He snapped at me because he was "trying to do something". He asked me a question, I cried and said yes, and I don't remember anything else after that!
