If you know the groom at all you know no suggestion list would be complete for him if Bucees was not on the list. If don't you know what it is, it is a gas station. However on a huge scale. It is about 45 mins from Milton one way. So quite a drive however it is very large, and full of all kinds of their own brand snacks. They have fresh to order food , and fresh cut meat sandwiches. If you have a full day there is also a large gator farm a few miles from the bucess. Ask Chris for his must have bucees items.
A nice sized zoo just about 30mins from the venue area. We went here on our third date, and a handful of times in the years since.
Take some time and see some of the bride's favorite spots in her home city. Home to beautiful white sand, and emerald waters. It is about 20 miles from Milton. Be sure to try to see the landmark Pensacola Beach sign, and the beach ball water tower. If you want to take time the graffiti bridge is another unique landmark. It is constantly changing as painting it is fully legal. The water tower is the easiest to access as it is in the main beach parking lot. A really neat thing to see on the beach is Fort Pickens. It is a civil war era fort. An entry charge, but well worth the visit. The fee also limits some of the crowd.Being as it will be summer the beach does get a little busy so do expect crowds. Going really early or If possible weekdays will be little less crowded.
This is right by our venue. It has been a constant in our dating. Our first date we sat here talking for a hour or so as it rained around us. We met here in the park by the gazebo many times. He proposed here and we had our engagement photos here. There is a long boardwalk that leads to the veterans park. If you have time to walk that area, look in the left section of the memory bricks .. both the bride's and groom's grandfathers have bricks in there.
