Latourell Falls
There are over 90 waterfalls along the Columbia River Gorge where we are getting married! Lataurell is our favorite that we've had the chance to visit and it is very accessible.
Portland Japanese Garden
One of the most authentic Japanese Gardens outside of Japan; we love visiting this spot for its' tranquility, art, and beautiful view of Portland.
Lan Su Chinese Garden
The Chinese Garden is located in the heart of downtown Portland. We love visiting the tea shop when we stop here!
Powell's City of Books
In the heart of Portland, Powell's is the largest new and used bookstore in the world covering an entire city block. The Gold Room and the Rare Book Room are our favorite spots!
Kinokuniya Portland
Studio Ghibli is what drew us in, but if you are a fan of anime, comics, art supplies, and an array of fandom paraphernalia, Kinokuniya is a must see.
OMSI
The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry always has an awesome array of things to experience from their Submarine tour to the Empirical Theater.
Portland Art Museum
Check out what exhibits might be on display when you're in town! We got to experience Guillermo del Toro's Crafting Pinocchio at the PAM.
Places to Eat and Drink
Portland has been called the "foodie (and drinkie) capital of America" by the Telegraph and the "best food city in America" by the Washington Post... There is absolutely no shortage of amazing places to eat and drink in the City of Roses. Here are just a few of our favorites: - Grand Fir Brewing (great beer and the BEST burger) - XLB (the best soup dumplings in the city) - The Departure (sushi and Pan-Asian with a view) - Portland City Grill (30th floor skyline view with upscale eats) - Raven's Manor (a year round spooky themed bar)
