Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kristi Wion and Eric Allen
Here are some fun and/or educational local spots worth visiting if you find yourself with some time to kill. If you're looking for some hang out time with a few beers and a feel for the Gem City, the Oregon District is the way to go!

Carillon Historical Park

1000 Carillon Boulevard, Dayton, OH 45409
, (937) 293-2841

Everything you need to know about the history of Dayton! Old train cars that you walk through, everything Wright Brothers - including full size model of the Wright-B Flyer, Automotive Innovation & so much more!

Oregon Historic District

Oregon Historic District, Dayton, OH 45402

Art, Craft Beer, Restaurants, Bars, shops with local goods, awesome plant store...you name it, they have it! Fun place to go to see Dayton at it's best. Recommendations: Toxic Brew - they have a shuffleboard, Warped Wing - highly popular brewery with community seating, board games and food, Trolley Stop - the service isn't always overly friendly but cool spot with live music.

Poelking Lanes South

8871 Kingsridge Drive, Dayton, OH 45458
, (937) 435-3855

Our favorite spot to hang out on a Sunday Funday!

National Museum of the US Air Force

1100 Spaatz Street, Dayton, OH 45431
, (937) 255-3286

Aviation. Military. Historical. Very cool space with a TON of information!

Yellow Springs

Yellow Springs, OH 45387

Free-spirited, eclectic spot with lots of little shops filled with handmade, local goods. Ye Olde Tavern has the best grilled cheese EVER! Several nature parks with beautiful hiking and waterfalls. Yellow Springs brewery! Check it out if you have time!

The Century Bar

18 South Jefferson Street, Dayton, OH 45402
, (937) 223-3382

GLORIOUS BOURBON as far as the eye can see...this space is just beautiful and serves old world cocktails you will dream about and any kind of bourbon you want. It features a lovely, floor-to-ceiling, carved, Italian wood bar that is over 100 years old! It recently moved to a larger space due to overwhelming popularity and previous limited seating.

For all the days along the way
