Amanda’s dream wedding consists of everyone in their fave semi-dressy summer clothes! Generally: khakis/slacks and nice tops for men, fun summery dresses for the ladies. Late July will be hot, so your comfort is key! Also this event is taking place mostly on grass, so keep that in mind when choosing your footwear.

What about the Ceremony?

Answer

Keith and Amanda are working hard to achieve their ultimate, peak happiness on their big day! For them, a private, intimate ceremony is part of what will help them reach this goal. This is happening JUST prior to the reception! The second MAJOR component of reaching this goal is having a big party with all of their friends and family! Balance is key. ((We look SO forward to dancing and enjoying a lovely night with all of you!))

A bit of a non-traditional wedding... what can I expect?

Answer

This really follows the theme of the previous question. Planning a wedding carries a LOT of tradition and expectation. As the couple begins a life together, they'd like to set the tone by doing things their way and throwing the best banger they can. No speeches (unless you want to! bring it on!), no entrances, no bands, DJs, or sit down meal. There *will* be lots of tasty food, an open bar, fun music, and A LOT of dancing and laughing!!!

What's the parking situation?

Answer

This is a big one! This is opening weekend of the Saratoga Race Course and the wedding is on a residential street in the downtown area of the city, therefore parking is something to be considered. There is on-street parking on both Circular St, and the surrounding streets. The alternate side parking does not go into effect until Monday morning. Please refer to the image uploaded to the homepage for a map of all parking lots in the surrounding area. There is also Uber and Lyft available in the area!
