Take a stroll through downtown Wayzata to see where Will and Claire had their first date! Located not far from Lafayette Club, downtown Wayzata is a great option for killing some time between the ceremony and reception. Grab a sushi appetizer at Sakana, do some shopping, or enjoy an ice cream treat at Ben & Jerry's! You can even walk the docks where Will and Claire shared their first kiss. There's tons to do and see in Downtown Wayzata and it remains a frequent date spot for the couple!
Try Something New at Back Channel Brewing Co.
Looking for a place to grab a drink and quick bite before the reception? Back Channel Brewing is a great, local brewery located between the church and Lafayette Club. They offer a wide variety of unique beers, craft sodas, kombucha, snacks and the occasional food truck. Depending on the current state of the COVID-19 Pandemic, board games may or may not be available for use.
Belly up to the bar at Lord Fletcher's Old Lake Lodge
Lord Fletchers is another great spot located right in the middle of our ceremony and reception spaces. Head down stairs for a drink and a snack at the bar, walk the docks, and enjoy Lake Minnetonka at this local hot spot.
Shop 'til you drop at Ridgedale Mall and surrounding areas
Ridgedale Mall has tons to offer! From shops to food and even a small indoor playground for kids. Check out their website for a full list of what can be found at Ridgedale. Nothing catching your eye? There's tons more in the area including Target, Ridgedale Library, YMCA and even iFLY Indoor Skydiving!
