Jess went to dinner with her mom without the slightest suspicion about what was going on. A few moths prior to this I had bought a ring and the next upcoming months I asked her families permission to marry her as well as coordinate a day when we could all surprise her at her grandmothers house. Jess went off to dinner and when she came back I had set up a heart made out of luminaries and I was standing in the middle. She was obviously shocked to see her whole family there as well as mine. I got down on one knee and asked future wife to marry me and she said YES!
