Faira has been my best friend for 8 years. I was a leader in youth group at my church when we met. We have gone through many seasons of life together and have helped push each other toward Christ in all seasons. Our friendship grew and continued as she went off to college in AZ, and continued when she came back to KC. We have celebrated her graduation, marriage and recent purchase of a new home together where we live 5 min down the road from each other. Our friendship is founded on our belief in God and love for one another. I love Faira's energetic, outgoing and hardworking character. Her mother Laura Fisher has also been a dear friend and mentor to me for the past 6 years. I am so thankful for both of these women in my life.

Jenny is the younger sister of Matthew. We were able to travel the summer of 2024 to visit Jenny in Nashville, TN where she lives. She is an aspiring musician and a creative, intellectual woman. We had a fun time with her and she was very hospitable. Matthew tells me many stories about fun and silly adventures and memories with his younger sister from when they were kids. I am excited to be able to call her my sister-in-law here in the near future!

Katie has been another very best friend for 7 years. Katie was in middle school when she moved back to the US from Italy with her family when I met her. I was her leader in youth group at my church when we connected and became friends. I watched Katie grow into the beautiful woman she is today. Last year we celebrated her High School graduation. We have so many good memories, traveling with youth group, running errands, bible studies, spending time with friends, laughing, and singing in the car together. A favorite thing we do is celebrate our birthdays together each year. We have also gone through many seasons of life and have helped push each other toward Christ in all seasons especially the hard ones. Our friendship is founded on Christ and is meant to last.

Sydney and I have been friends for the past 2 years and connected with each other through the biblical counseling ministry at our church. Sydney is a deep thinker and is very diligent in her study of the Bible, which I admire. What I admire most about her is her bubbly, friendly and fun personality. She says things that make me smile and I enjoy spending time with her and being her friend very much. She has watched Matthew and my relationship grow every step of the way to what it is today, and has been a good friend from the beginning. The Lord had Sydney and my paths cross in his perfect time and I am so thankful to call her a friend!

Megan Watt and I have been friends for 6 years beginning when we met working side-by-side with each other in the Blue Valley School District. We quickly became friends and developed a lovely friendship. We would joke, laugh, cry and pray with each other at work. We would challenge each other and hold each other accountable to reading the Bible and with keeping up with our physical health as well! We have stayed in touch over the past 4 years and meet up once every season, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter, for coffee to continue growing our friendship together. I love Megan and enjoy her intentional personality. She is a woman, mother, wife and friend I look up to in life.

She is thoughtful, a good listener, and has a strength for helping others. By way of a Chiefs watch party in 2023, my brother met her and they have now been dating for almost a year! I am thankful for her friendship and excited for new seasons to come!
