Question

What’s a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

For us the rehearsal dinner is an extra night of fun. We don’t get to spend a lot of time with family and friends from outside of Brisbane very often so we would like to take the chance to spend more time with everyone. Children are welcome at the rehearsal dinner until 9pm. This is a cocktail night with a cash bar for drinks (alcoholic & non alcoholic)

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

Ceremony and Reception: As much as we love children, this is an adults only (18+) event. So please enjoy a night out with us. Rehearsal dinner: The rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding is child friendly until 9pm. This is the venues policy. Plus we are getting ready to be a boring married couple and plan to leave by 9:30pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We request formal attire for the day. When was the last time you really got a chance to dress up?

Question

What about the bar?

Answer

House beer, wine and soft drink is included from 5pm-10pm. From 10pm-11pm there is a cash bar (eftpos available)

Question

How do we get from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

It is a quick 7min drive or Uber (if you plan on drinking) between the two venues as well as ample free overnight parking at the Victoria Park complex.

Question

What to do during the gap?

Answer

You may have noticed that there is a small gap between the ceremony and reception of our special day. Unfortunately for us to have the day we dream of this is an unavoidable circumstance. However there are many cafes and bars within walkig distance of the ceremony for a quick stop . Alternatively Victoria Park has a restaurant you can enjoy a drink at before the cocktail hour begins.

Question

Where are we registered

Answer

Please see the registry tab for information

Question

Can we take photos and videos

Answer

We love to see photos and videos of everyone enjoying themselves but please be respectful as we have decided on an unplugged ceremony. We have hired a photographer and videographer to capture the wonder full memories of the day. During the ceremony please leave your camera in your bags. We would rather see your faces then a sea of phones. At the reception take as many photos as you want and share them with the hashtag #mr_mrsardle please be respectful of the photographer and videographer.
