How we met
On the dance floor!
On the eve of 2017, two unknowing soul mates got themselves dressed up and headed to the New Years Eve party at the house of their mutual friend. Vanessa's original plan was to bring in the new year with sour patch kids and chick flicks. At the last minute, to James' good fortune, her friends convinced her otherwise. James led with "I think we have the same hair!" The rest is history.
The Proposal
Not Your Average Jog Through The Park
On December 30, 2017 at 9:18am, Vanessa rolls out of bed to take a run through Golden Gate Park with her friend. Halfway through she notices, to her surprise, her name drawn huge in sidewalk chalk with instructions to "follow me". Arrows lead her into the Shakespeare Garden where a man in a blue suit has an important question to ask. To which she says "Yes!"
