One day, MP saw Ryan at St. John's and wanted to invite him over for dinner at her home along with some of her friends, so she sent him a message. That night, MP made a breadcrumb crusted lemon chicken for her guests, along with mashed potatoes, sauteed asparagus, and roasted zucchini. Ryan's first bite into MP’s lemon crusted chicken was heavenly! Soon after their dinner party, Ryan and MP started to spend more time together at St. John's after masses, had more fun friendly dinners, and then started to drive around and listen to music together on country roads. Sometimes that's all there is to do on slow weekends in Stillwater! MP started to really like Ryan and confessed her feelings for him after a Catholic Conference in Oklahoma City called SEEK. He reciprocated his feelings for her that weekend. They began dating on May 11, 2021 and the rest is history! They owe their relationship to Father Kerry for leading them into the Catholic faith more deeply, God for bringing them both to Oklahoma State at the perfect time, and MP’s famous "Marry Me Chicken" (as it is dubbed now).
