Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be a shuttle provided the whole night!

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accomodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Question

What if I arrive late to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 3pm. If you arrive late to the venue, do not panic! Keep in mind, however, that you will not be permitted to drive down to the parking lot until the ceremony is over. This policy ensures that the special moments are not disrupted by traffic. If you do arrive late you will have two options: 1.) The venue will provide valet service and permit you to walk down to the barn and ceremony area. They will then drive your car down to the lot after the ceremony, park for you, and return your keys. 2.) You can wait until the ceremony is over and drive down to park your car when one of the Fortune Valley Manor's employees lets you know that the ceremony is over and traffic will no longer cause a disruption.

Question

What do I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will being at 3:00pm. Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding a seat.

Question

Where do I park?

Answer

Our venue has free on-site parking. There will be a shuttle from the hotel to the venue as well.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you; get ready to party!! For this reason we encourage you to use the shuttles for those staying in town. Please make sure you have a way to get home safely!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside. The reception will be inside. There will be games outside throughout the night and an after party following the reception which will be outside.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress your best while staying comfortable. We would prefer if our wedding colors (blues and gray) were avoided, but we understand it may not be feasible for everyone, you will still be fully welcome regardless of what you wear! The ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors, so please be mindful when choosing your attire! Thank you!
