We decided to postpone the wedding in enough time for everyone to cancel flights and rearrange plans, so we did it a few months before the wedding would've been. As of now, there is no set or foreseeable date for the wedding as we had it planned, so we rearranged our own plans. On May 29th we had a very small wedding with just our closest friends and family in North Dakota. We did not want our marriage to be contingent upon whether or not we could afford a ceremony. We are now happily married and starting our new life together! But that doesn't mean we want to leave the other wedding or all the guests behind. We are working on rearranging our situation so that we can have the finances to have the Lubbock wedding, and when we have those finances, we will instead have a celebration of marriage ceremony and reception in Lubbock. We will do our best to keep guests informed as new developments arise!
Yes! The registry is still functional and anything you send us will come our way.
Ideally, please RSVP as soon as you know you're attending the reception! But if it comes down to deadlines, all RSVPs should be in at least 1 month prior to the wedding.
Please do let us know about any food allergies you have! Depending upon the caterer we partner with, we can’t promise all special requests will be honored. But we will do what we can to make sure any allergens we’ve been told about are properly labeled at the reception, to keep everyone safe.
-The RSVP function on the website has been disabled until we have an official date for the celebration of marriage. Absolutely! We included the website RSVP feature to make it easier on everyone, but it’s been having some issues. Feel free to reach out to either of us to let us know you’ll be attending!
