We met on a popular dating app called "Bumble". I/Hanna was new to the area as I just moved to start nursing school. Lucas used the line "how about I show you around Chambersburg?" Next thing you know, he asked me to go on a date at Relax. If you are from the Chambersburg area, you know! We sat at the bar and drank some beers, talked, and slowly got to know one another. Over the course of 6 years, we continued to learn, grow, and fall in love with one another. September 2025, Lucas decided it was FINALLY time. He went to a local jeweler and had a custom ring made with a diamond from his grandfather. The proposal was not planned out, but the jeweler called Lucas on my 30th birthday and said the ring was done. Coincidence?? Lucas decided he was going to propose that night, at Hershey Park, where we had already planned on going for my birthday! My little brother, Zane, was going to meet us there. Lucas gave Zane a 30 minute heads up that he was about to be the photographer for our engagement! (Hey, thanks Zane!) The rest is history. We are so happy you all can be part of our long awaited, special day <3
