Imerovigli: Known as the "Balcony of the Aegean", this peaceful village offers unparalleled views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing retreat. Distance from Santorini Gem: 6.2km/15 minutes by car. Kamari: Kamari Beach is an excellent choice for families. Located on the quieter end of the Island, Kamari is within walking distance of the famous volcanic black sand beach and you’ll be in the immediate vicinity of a variety of shops, supermarkets and restaurants. Transport on the island

A taxi transfer from Santorini Airport to the main town of Fira costs around €35 to €50. For a budget-friendly option, the public bus has direct transfers from the airport to Fira for just €2. You can view the bus schedule below. Airport transfer to Imerovigli will cost roughly €40 to €50 by taxi. The local bus runs every 90 minutes from the airport for €2. Transport from the airport to Oia will cost roughly €65 to €80 and take between 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. Local buses do run every three hours for €4.
