Many of you may already know how we officially met but if it weren't for my sister marrying Freddy's cousin, we would have never met. Since Alex and Roni met and dated at a young age, at some point Freddy and I were in the same room but at a distance (because ew cooties). However, fast forward to September 2017 when my sister texts me saying she has someone she wants me to meet. Keep in mind, Freddy and I were both newly single, so I was a bit hesitant and so was Freddy. But on October 7, 2017 Alex convinced both of us to go to their house to visit. I was so nervous to meet him but we hit it off right away and hey, lets be cheesy, the rest is history!

On November 18, 2017 we went out to celebrate my friends birthday. It was Freddy's first time meeting my group of friends but I can honestly say I was not nervous what so ever. He was so easy to get along with that I had no doubt in my mind they'd love him. If any of you KNOW Freddy, you know he LOVES to dance, so we were on the dance floor most of the night. At some point (close to midnight) he asked me to be his girlfriend.

When I tell you I was surprised, I. WAS. SURPRISED. I had no idea what he was planning. Yes we had talked about it but I didn't think he'd propose for another year. On August 10, 2019, we moved in together to our first apartment. I was so excited to start this chapter in our lives. If you know me, you know I'm OCD and very organized so I wanted to start organizing and decorating the apartment right away but my soon to be sister in law had asked to hang out and go to a winery, and I couldn't say no! But little did I know, it was all part of Freddy's plan. After a good time at Bluemont on August 11,2019, I headed back home. I open the door to the apartment and am in shock. The apartment was "clean", everything we had laying around was gone and replaced by rose petals everywhere, pictures of the two of us spread out on the floor, bottles of our favorite wines (Josh Cellars) on the coffee table, the TV was on with a picture of the two of us, and Freddy standing there holding a large bouquet of red roses. Neither one of us will forget the first thing that came out of my mouth... "where did you shove all our stuff?!" Answer: the bedroom. He handed me the bouquet of roses and sat me down which was followed by a slide show he put together expressing himself and everything we've done together since we met. He had me crying, laughing, and cringing all at the same time. The video comes to an end and sneaky Freddy pulls the ring out from under the couch while down on his knee, says some cute things that I wish I remembered but again, I was still in shock as to what was happening, and says the four words I always dreamed of one day being be said to me, "will you marry me?"
