When is the wedding?

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:00 PM at Pilgrim Congregational Church. Please plan to arrive 20–30 minutes early to get seated and settled.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at Pilgrim Congregational Church, followed by the reception at The Hotel Chalet in Chattanooga, TN.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The celebration will be semi-formal. We ask that all of our guest wear black. Suits, cocktail dresses, and elevated attire are perfect. Evan and Taylor both have a fashion background, and want you to experiment and feel confident.

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! A room block is available at The Hotel Chalet for your convenience. Please visit the “Travel” section for the booking link and details.

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Parking is available onsite at The Hotel Chalet. Guests staying at the hotel can utilize valet or self-parking. Those attending the ceremony can park at Pilgrim Congregational and then head to the hotel for the reception. Parking is limited at the church so we encourage carpooling.

We adore your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration.

We kindly ask that guests bring a plus-one only if their invitation specifically includes one.

What should I expect from Chattanooga weather in March?

Answer

Late-March weather in Chattanooga is typically cool and mild. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap for outdoor transitions between events.

If you’re making a weekend out of it, here are some guest favorites: • Rock City – Taylor and Evans favorite place, stunning views and scenic trails • Ruby Falls – an underground waterfall unlike any other • Tennessee Aquarium – consistently rated one of the top in the nation • Point Park – where Taylor and Evan got engaged! Scenic views and walking trails • Local shopping in North Shore – walkable local businesses and view of the Tennessee River

Chattanooga has amazing local dining. Some nearby favorites include: • Elsie’s Daughter – connected to the Hotel Chalet, Appalachian bistro- inspired restaurant and bar • STIR – close proximity to the Hotel Chalet, higher price point home style fusion, oysters, and cocktails • Yellow Deli – cozy environment, soups and sandwiches • Scottie’s on the River – mid price, southernand seafood, great view of the Tennessee River • Massey’s Kitchen – Mediterranean and stone fired pizzas, close proximity to Rock City • Urban Stack – unique burger menu and whiskey cocktails • Hi-Fi – live music pub bar, apatizers sandwiches and beer • Base Camp – local brewery and home style food • Public House – high price point, fusion homestyle • Cashew – local vegan restaurant and bakery • Sugar’s Ribs – classic bbq, with views of the city and a goat feeding experience • Amigos – Mexican food, several locations across Chattanooga. • Frothy Monkey – close proximity to the Hotel Chalet, breakfast, coffee, evening cocktails • Mr.T’s Pizza – counter service customizable pizza, close proximity to Rock City (best pizza in town)

Are there accommodations other than the room block?

Chattanooga has lots of great hotel options near the Ceremony and Reception. You are welcome to stay anywhere you'd like, but the room block at The Hotel Chalet offers the most convenient access to the reception.

Do you need to know about dietary restrictions?

Yes, please note any restrictions when you RSVP. The catering team will be happy to accommodate when possible.

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Taylor & Evan kindly request an unplugged ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Phones and cameras are welcome again at the reception!
