10 years ago in 2012, we met while working at the Pewaukee Menards. We started off as friends, who then went separate directions. 2 years later, fate brought us back together or a simple phone call. The Moore family lost their beloved family dog Annie in August of 2014. Holly called Sam a few days later to check on him. That simple phone called turned into a 3+ hour conversation. For the next few months Sam continued to ask Holly out on a date but she kept saying no until one day Sam picked her up before she could say no. Their first date turned into a Cabela's trip, a night of playing darts, and listening to a local cover band. Almost 8 years later here we are, FINALLY becoming Mr. & Mrs. Moore.
They say all good things take time or almost 7 years! Sam and Holly started a road trip to Georgia to pick up the new boat or known by most as "The Other Woman." As part of the trip, they stayed overnight in Nashville. Holly wanted to get a picture in front of a popular artist mural. Sam then decided this was the perfect moment to ask. They parked the truck and began walking down. Sam was definitely acting weird this entire walk. Sam asked this group of ladies who also happened to be Wisconsinities, to take our picture in front of the mural. What Holly didn't know was that Sam had asked them to record a video of that special moment. Holly posed in front of the wall and then turned to see Sam getting down on one knee with the biggest smile and most beautiful ring. Obviously, she said yes!
