During their senior year of high school, Matt and Kim wrestled with the same big question: which college would be the right fit? After weighing their options, they both felt drawn to becoming Blue Hens. Freshman year was a season of discovery. Matt quickly found his place in Christian Challenge, a campus ministry that became a home base, while Kim enthusiastically signed up for nearly every club that caught her eye, many of them ministries as well. Their time on campus was cut short by the pandemic, but by junior year they returned, eager to dive back into community life. One Tuesday night, Kim’s best friend invited her to a Halloween broom ball party hosted by Christian Challenge. That night, Matt and Kim’s paths began to cross more meaningfully. They grew familiar with each other through ministry events, but it wasn’t until senior year that everything shifted. A single conversation stretched into hours, then into nights of talking, and soon they were spending nearly every day together. Before long, Matt asked Kim to be his girlfriend, and that spring they proudly graduated side by side as "Double Dels." Since then, their relationship has been filled with adventures, laughter, and the joy of discovering each other more deeply. This past summer, during Matt’s family vacation at Woodloch Pines, he asked Kim to be his wife. It was the easiest "yes" of her life, celebrated with family and close friends. Now, they are overjoyed to celebrate with all of you as they say "I do!"
