Ponce City Market

Ponce City Market

675 Ponce De Leon Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30308
, (404) 900-7900

A great place for a variety of food, drinks and shopping. You can also pay to go up to the rooftop where there's more food and drinks, games, mini golf, and a fantastic view of the city. It's also located on the Beltline so you can walk around and find more things to explore.

Krog Street Market

Krog Street Market

99 Krog Street Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30307

This is a great place for a variety of food options - it's kinda set up like a food court. It's also located on the Beltline so you can walk around and find more things to explore along the trail.

Georgia Aquarium

Georgia Aquarium

225 Baker Street Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30313
, (404) 581-4000

I think they have sharks now! They're always adding or building something new so they can maintain their reputation as the best and biggest aquarium in the world.

Atlanta Botanical Garden

Atlanta Botanical Garden

1345 Piedmont Avenue Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30309
, (404) 876-5859

You know, I've never actually been here, but I hear it is lovely.

The Painted Duck

The Painted Duck

976 Brady Avenue Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30318
, (404) 352-0048

A swanky place where you can try duck bowling - it's so much harder than normal bowling. The ball is smaller and you'd think that'd make it easier, but you'd be wrong. There's also a bunch of other games you can play while you're waiting on your lane. There's this one room that looks like a giant pool table and the balls are soccer balls ... it's fun, especially with a couple drinks in you lol. I do not recommend going here on a Friday or Saturday night because it can get CRAZY busy and they don't do reservations (first come, first serve). Mike and I went earlier in the day once and that was fun! Or try a week night if you're staying in town longer.

The Painted Pin

The Painted Pin

737 Miami Circle Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30324
, (404) 814-8736

If you're looking for a more traditional bowling experience I'd recommend going to The Painted Pin. It's also kinda swanky like it's sister The Painted Duck, but it's still the same game you grew up playing. They serve great drinks and snacks, and they have other games to choose from while you wait for your lane. They do not do reservations here either, so get there early (and maybe not on a weekend evening).

Piedmont Park

Piedmont Park

400 Park Drive Northeast, Atlanta, GA 30306
, (404) 875-7275

This is Atlanta's biggest park and is located in the heart of Midtown.

Mercedes-Benz Stadium

Mercedes-Benz Stadium

1 AMB Drive Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30313
, (470) 341-5000

If you’re staying in town after the wedding for a while, then I HIGHLY recommend attending an Atlanta United game at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. There’s a game on September 29th against Inter Miami. If you can't attend a game, then just go see the stadium because it's pretty cool. I swear, seeing this thing while driving through town you’ll think you just came across a massive space ship or something. They probably have tours, too...

Bold Monk Brewing Co.

Bold Monk Brewing Co.

1737 Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30318
, (404) 390-3288

A cool new brewpub that has good beer, good food, and a good vibe. Fun fact: this actually used to be an empty warehouse that film productions used as sound stages and offices. I worked on a horror movie called Rings here back in the day. The interior resembles a cathedral more than a horror film now.

Monday Night Garage

Monday Night Garage

933 Lee Street Southwest, Atlanta, GA 30310
, (404) 352-7703

Monday Night Garage is a great brewery located right on the West End Beltline trail. Wild Heaven Brewery is in sneezing distance from here as well. And Best End Brewery is just a skip and a hop down the trail. Then there's ASW Whiskey Distillery right next door if you'd prefer whiskey. You can get very drunk in this little corner of Atlanta lol

Puttshack Atlanta

Puttshack Atlanta

1115 Howell Mill Road, Atlanta, GA 30318
, (404) 738-7888

I haven't been here yet, but it is certainly on my list. Puttshack is an upscale, tech-infused indoor miniature golf course. Just look it up, it looks fun.

Topgolf

Topgolf

1600 Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard Northwest, Atlanta, GA 30318
, (404) 475-4000

We've been here several times and it is super fun, especially when the weather is nice.

For all the days along the way
