How early should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at Kingsmill Resort 30 minutes prior to the ceremony. Shuttles will be provided from the entrance of the resort to transport guests to the ceremony venue. Upon arrival and seating, champagne and additional beverages will be available for guests to enjoy before the ceremony begins.

How will I receive my welcome basket?

Answer

When checking in at Kingsmill Resort, please let the front desk know you are part of the Mosher-Taylor wedding weekend and they will provide you with your welcome basket. For guests staying off property, welcome baskets will be available for you when you arrive at the welcome party.

Are kids allowed to come to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 24th. We kindly ask that all guests respond by this date so we can finalize seating and celebration details.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors and the reception will be indoors in the Burwell Ballroom. Please note that the ceremony will take place on the grass so we recommend choosing footwear accordingly. We also recommend bringing a light wrap if needed for the evening.

What airport should out-of-town guests use?

Answer

For guests traveling to our wedding weekend at Kingsmill Resort, the closest major airport is Richmond International Airport, located approximately one hour from the resort. Rental cars and rideshare services are readily available from the airport for easy transportation to Williamsburg.

Can I take photos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We invite you to be fully present with us during our ceremony and kindly ask photos and cameras remain away until the reception.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our celebration intimate, we are only able to accommodate those specifically named on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.

How can I get to all of the events Throughout the weekend?

Answer

Guests staying at Kingsmill Resort will find that all of the weekend’s events are easily walkable throughout the resort grounds. We’ve also uploaded a map highlighting each event location, available under the Hotel Block & Booking tab for your convenience.
