As most people know music holds a special place in both of our hearts, so it's fitting that we met at a music festival. At the time Michelle was living in Washington DC and Jesse in New York and as they both got ready to take off for a weekend filled with dancing, good music and good friends they had no idea they were about to meet their forever person. Now even though we had no idea we would be meeting our person our friends had a good feeling that we may be right for each other... Weeks leading up to Coachella Michelle's best friend Kristy started to hint to Michelle that she thought she was going to hit it off with Jesse. She didn't know him well but she kept saying "there is something about the way he talks, jokes and his responses in the group chat that make me think of you". Once Michelle's other bestie Josh caught wind of this he too jumped in saying "Meesh you are definitely going to like him, he works on Law and Order SVU". Still, Michelle didn't think to much into it and continued on her way but thankful that Kristy believed because she convinced Michelle it would be a good idea for her to shave her legs for the weekend. On the other side, Jesse's friend Ketchersid had pointed Michelle out in the group and as a typical guy conversation goes he said "Dude, I think you're really going to like Michelle" When landing in LAX Michelle and Jesse locked eyes and they both thought - okay, they are pretty cute. As the weekend went on they were glued at the hip and Michelle spent the whole weekend calling Jesse her Coachella boyfriend. The moment that Michelle knew this could be something special was when they were dancing at a Rufus Du Sol set and Michelle turned around and Jesse sang the words "I want your love, I want it bad, I just want to treat you better" and Michelle knew in her heart he meant those words and would always treat her how she deserved. It didn't take long after Coachella for Michelle to move from DC to New York and the rest is history.
