How We Met

January 2018

We first saw each others profiles on christian mingle, but started talking on facebook. At that point we only talked on the phone (on our first phone call I could have told you that God had saved this man for me, but I didn't tell Brandon that). We finally met in person in march of 2018. Since we met on line my dad was obviously a little skeptical and asked to go with me on our first date, so I told Brandon that and his response was well obviously your dad is going to come, he just cares about you. Needless to say I thought he was crazy, but looking back it was one thing that really stood out about him as a person and was a testament to his true Godly character. So the three of us went to coffee on St. Patrick's day 2018, my dad had said I will stay, buy you both coffee and talk with this guy, if I like him I will leave and you guys can have your date and if I don't you will come home with me. Well, long story short my dad talked with us together for an hour and really liked Brandon so he left us on our date we talked for hours. Two days later we met in Rohnert Park for lunch and I met his mom and a couple of his siblings that day. We thank God every day for bringing us together. -Lynnsae

The Proposal

November 10, 2019

So on a beautiful Sunday I had it all planned out and organized (with the help of some friends and family) to surprise Lynnsae with a personal proposal and a big party at her family home with all of our family. She thought we were going to her house for a normal Sunday dinner with her family, but little did she know that was not what was planned. I drove us to the lookout hill in Clayton, CA by her house (which is where I had also asked her to be my girlfriend). I was pretty nervous but so excited she got out of the car and started walking with me, she was so surprised she almost didn't believe it. I had written her a song called "Forever and Always" and my close friends Mike and Amanda from Rohnert Park had gotten there early and set it all up just how I wanted it, and George Curtis and Esther (Lynnsae's brother and sister in law) were taking photos. She cried a lot and spoiler she said YES! I then took her to her family's house where both our families were and we had such a great time celebrating our engagement with them. That day was a huge blessing from God! -Brandon

Our Wedding

4/25/2020

Yes, We did get married on a beautiful warm day in Orland CA. It was very small and in a very generous friends back yard. We were so blessed by this very intimate time to make a pledge of marriage before God and our families. We Greatly missed each one of you but we really felt that this is what God wanted us to do. We had so much fun and were still able to get our photos done by my dear friend Lyndsie Smith and video was taken by my brother and sister. Even with the sadness of having our original large celebration wedding cancelled it was a very special and memorable time. We even got to spend the night in Redding and then drive to Oregon for a little honeymoon. God is good! We are so excited to get to celebrate now.
