It was late summer of 2009 when we first met. We had shared mutual friends for a little while but one day we were finally introduced to each other. I asked my friend who the guy with the dimply smile was and in return, when I walked inside Dylan turned towards our friends and said, “I’m going to marry that girl one day”, fully confident in his words. Little did we know where our journey would take us… We became instant friends. We had shared many things in common, some of which grew our friendship and some that tested it. Over the years of flirting back and fourth, the changes of teenage into adult years, new and old relationships and friendships being built and let go, one thing remained the same, the love we shared for each other. Seasons could go by without a word from one another but the second we would see each other or hear from one another, it was like time never happened and we never missed a beat. My favorite memory to this day is when I was in a local convenience store and Dylan playfully came up behind me and said “You’re still mine”, even though we had not talked in a few months. He was always so confident in our relationship and that has made me feel so special throughout all of these years. We ended up reconnecting in late 2016. I dragged him to all the Fall activities and he smiled through it all. Again, we let love happen and it never skipped a beat. In 2017 Dylan and I finally became an official couple. We were absolutely obsessed with each other, we were inseparable, and honestly it was so easy to realize that this was it for us and this would be a forever type of journey together. We now share a house we’ve made a home, the absolute BEST dog in the world (Beanz), and our love continues to grow throughout all of the ups and downs of our life together. We’ve made so many wonderful memories together and it’s just the beginning. I can confidently say that Dylan has always been my soulmate, wether it was friendship or romance, it has always been him. We can not wait to see what our future holds together. Becoming husband and wife will be one of our greatest successes and we are so happy to be able to share it together, with our family and friends. Xoxo The Wyatt’s
