we're getting married!

They met during one of Moryna's short travel assignments in California. Sunny Santa Barbara to be exact. It was a 2 month stint that turned into forever. They were both looking to date, but didn't have high expectations for this specific relationship because of Moryna's time line. She was planning on traveling to Seattle. Clayton had just made a Hinge account (shout out Hinge), but was very apprehensive of dating strangers online. He almost bailed on their first date! But as fate would have it, he decided it was worth a shot this one time. He made the mistake of making a reservation at a seafood restaurant. If you know Clay, you know he HATES seafood. Moryna made him take an oyster shooter that night. And I think they can both agree… that they're freakin' atrocious. They ended the date with a stroll on the boardwalk and a one handed hug. It was the first of many dates. On her last week of her travel contract they both got absolutely trashed on the beach. After their third vodka soda someone... blurted out that they didn't want the other person to date anyone else. And he responded "then don't". Haha. Five years later they're still taking oyster shooters on their anniversary just like the first night they met.
