Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are planning our celebration to be relaxed, modern and non-religious, so classic wedding attire is perfect, our only request is no tuxedos please.

What colour are the Bridal Party wearing?

Answer

The Bridal Party will be in a mixture of light pastel colours so please don't feel as though you need to avoid any particular colours, (excluding white)!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately, due to capacity restrictions, we are only able to accommodate those named on the invitation. If you are unsure or have any questions about your invite, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We are planning an 'unplugged' ceremony, so we kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away and on silent during this time. We will have a photographer and videographer capturing it all - so you can relax and enjoy the moment with us. After that please take as many pictures as you like!

What food and drinks will be provided?

Answer

After the ceremony, some drinks and canapés will be served, followed by a two-course buffet-style dinner. Evening food will also be available. A selection of drinks will be served with dinner, and thereafter drinks can be purchased at the bar throughout the evening. Please note, no external food or drinks can be brought on site. Please confirm any dietary requirements and drink preferences in your RSVP.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony starts at 1:30pm, so please arrive in plenty of time to be seated. The 'Gin Terrace' will be open from 12:30pm, so there is somewhere to gather, mingle with other guests and grab a drink beforehand. If you are arriving for the evening celebration only, then you are welcome to join from 6:30pm.

Where should I sit during the ceremony?

Answer

Wherever you like, there is no seating plan! Just be sure to leave any reserved seats free.

Where will the event be held at Middleton Lodge?

Answer

The full day and evening event is held on site at the Walled Gardens and Fig House at Middleton Lodge. Please note there may be another wedding on site on the same day held at the Estate House.

What time should I book my taxi home?

Answer

The venue will close at midnight, taxis to be arranged between 11:30pm - 12:00am. Exact event finishing time will be confirmed nearer the date.

Will the event be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Weather dependent! Hopefully the sun is shining and the ceremony and reception can be held outdoors. However if we are not so lucky, then these events can be moved indoors. Dining and the evening celebration will be indoors.
