Maid of Honor
Two sisters separated at birth. Reconnected after 21 years while working underpaid jobs at the Fashion Fair Mall. Our weekly tradition of Wednesday nights at Thai Palms, Thursday Eureka Burger, Roe and Twist for the weekend. Our sisterhood grew rapidly. There were laughs, there were cries, sweating nights in Mexico and the constant buzz of Justin Beiber's "Despacito". And just like that, we were best friends forever.
Best Man
Nick and I have been friends for almost 20 years, dating back to when we first worked together at UPS. I’m honored and looking forward to standing next to them on their special day. When Nick first told me about Alex, the first words out of his mouth were “I just met this BAD one!” Of course, bad in this instance was not “bad” but rather his way of letting me know he found her to be extremely stunning, smart, witty, with a big heart. After hearing about Alex, I wanted to meet this special woman who made such an impression on Nick. When I found out she was a fellow CUSD grad, I knew I was going to like her and he had my blessing to pursue things further. The rest like they say, is history. Best wishes on this wonderful journey as you build your new lives together as husband and wife!
Matron of Honor
This spicy Aries and I have been friends for 20 YEARS! And trust me, a LOT can happen in that amount of time. We’ve been by each other’s sides from the days of Alex keeping a battery operated curling iron on her at all times in middle school, to senior ditch days, to traveling between SF and Washington to be there for each other, to moving home together, to standing by my side as I got married, and now to me repaying that favor as your Matron of Honor. I’m so honored to stand by your side as you marry the love of your life and to be there to support y’all in your marriage and beyond. Girl, we’ve been through it all together and I couldn’t ask for a better best friend to go through life with. Let’s get you two Morsels married! Love you both! PS - “ONLY I CAN YELL AT HER!

I still remember the first time Nick met Alex about seven years ago (maybe it was more). He called me the day after and told me “Aaron I met this girl and after she told me her last name I said “I have a childhood friend with the same last name that lives in SF”. She replied “I think we might be related”. He told me I’m going to keep talking to her so I can bring her up to meet you. They came to visit and turns out Alex and I are in fact related (cousins) apparently now Nick is my cousin too! Congrats you two, Nick you are now a De La Cruz too Haha
Mini Maid of Honor
Who would've thought, the day my dad introduced Alex to my brother and I, the most craziest people I know would be getting married! My dad knows how much I love him. From the day I was born he has always been my rock. He is the hardest worker I know and I strive to be like him. I am so happy he is selling his soul to the devil herself, Alex. And I mean that in the best possible way haha. I'll try to keep this short, she has given me many things in life that I will cherish forever. Her work ethic is phenomenal and I look up to her…I know crazy right. But in that being said, I am so happy that our little family string can finally be tied, along with our crazy dogs. Oh and also, "last defender" always.
Jr. Bestman
My dad has always made it a point to let me know how loved and appreciated I am. He knows how much he means to me and how important he is in my life. So I thought that I would take this opportunity to sing my praises instead for his soon to be wife, Alex. Alex is incredibly driven, strong, a great communicator, and has shaped me in my direction for life. I’ve gained countless new perspectives in life from her, and value the time we’ve had together so far incredibly. I’m excited to see them both live out a happily, long lasting, and healthy marriage together.

It was 2006 and I had just got hired to work at Abercrombie. I was in the store shopping and it was Alex’s first day. While she was trying to figure out how to open the fitting room I told her she had amazing hair and she said, “I know”. She then complimented me on my outfit choices and congratulated me on getting hired. Alex caught me by surprise with her response. She was confident, outgoing, and made me feel welcome within minutes. Alex was quick to invite me out with her friends and I soon found out Alex seemed to be friends, or at least know, almost everyone. Most of my favorite early adulthood memories include Alex and I can’t wait to continue making more memories together.

The first time I met Alex she was in neon from head to toe. It was extremely hard to miss her because she was basically a walking traffic sign; THAT is exactly when this party began and to be honest, has not ended since. From road trips, concerts, baseball games, poker games, visiting me wherever I move to,running to her house and quarantining with her, to meeting the best person there is for her. It's been a wild ride and I am here for it. She’s the only friend I have that I think of as a big sister who gives the best advice and also my only friend who purposely pick fights with Nick to get a new puppy (not complaining). I’m honored to stand by her side on the best day of her life when she says ‘I do’ to someone who I think of as a brother. I am so happy for the Morsels, let’s do this!

You two have always been welcoming with open arms, and we’ve had great times and have more to come. To Nick, you’ve been a great friend and are always motivated in life. To Alex you’ve always been a caring and loving person. I’m happy for you two. Congratulations Alex and Nick!

Imagine a seventh grade choir class. Then imagine this beautiful, witty girl straightening her hair with her portable straightener; telling me about how she only wears dresses or skirts...That’s how our friendship began. Since then we’ve cheered, road tripped, gone to concerts, clubs, dinner, dates, laughed, and cried together. In the last 20 years, there’s not much we haven’t experienced together, which is why it’s such an honor to be a bridesmaid. Standing by Alex on her big day, will be the most special memory we have yet to make together. I love you 😘

When I look at my sister I see not only my best friend, but my partner in crime. (Insert Jesus Te Ama pic). She has been there and supported me in ways that she doesn't even know. When I look at her today, to see the woman that she has become, the success she has achieved, and the man she has chosen to stand by her side, it brings me such joy and happiness. We've had a lot of ups and downs, but I wouldn't change a single thing as it's all led us to this very moment. To Nicholas, I know you'll take excellent care of her. I can say wholeheartedly that we love both of you dearly. Welcome to the family, Nick!
Officiant
The first time I met Nick, I remember he pulled up to our house on a Saturday while me and my dad were outside doing yard work. He got out of his car and shook mine and my dad’s hand, making a good first impression. My mom still asked me to take a pic of his license plate in case Alex went missing since they were heading to Las Vegas and they literally just had met. As time went on I began to like Nick a lot, he was a cool guy and a hard worker I could respect. He ended up getting me my job at UPS and I’m grateful to him, he’s a good guy and I’m glad he’s gonna be part of the family.
