Start your tour off with a drink and a board game at Doobies.
Walk down Lombard Street to the Schuylkill River Park and watch some pups play at the dog park (Ben's favorite place in the city).
Walk over the bridge and take a stroll down the Schuylkill River Trail towards the Philadelphia Art Museum - you'll see it in the distance. Make sure to stop and watch the skater kids at the skate park leading up to the museum.
Take a pic with Rocky, and run up the "Rocky Steps" if you want, but at least check out the view from the top of the Art Museum steps. Maybe check out an exhibit or two or three.
Take a walkie around the Art Museum to Fairmount Waterworks.
If you're getting hungry, grab an Uber or walk down Benjamin Franklin Parkway towards Reading Terminal Market (it's about a 30 minute walk through the city). You can find just about anything to eat here.
Rock climbing was one of our favorite pre-COVID things to do. This gym is great for anyone who wants to climb some walls.
Spend an afternoon zip lining and completing super fun obstacles.
Check out weird stuff at Jess's favorite museum, the Mutter Museum.
Great fun for a hang in a hammock, a quick bite and a beer, yummy ice cream from Franklin Fountain, and a ducky ride.
Cool local brewery right by Spruce Street Harbor Park. We love Han Dynasty too, the Chinese restaurant next door.
Grab a drink next to the home of the Liberty Bell and where the Declaration of Independence was signed.
One of the best bakeries in the city! Will (bagel snob) even considers the bagels to be Long Island quality. You must get at least 3 croissants (plain and chocolate).
Have a drink at the coolest gastropub in our South Philly neighborhood.
Endorsed by Guy Fieri himself, this bar has some of our favorite food in the city, along with a huge selection of drinks. Memphis is a bit far from where we usually hang, but the trip is worth it.
Monk’s has the largest beer selection in all of Philadelphia, and some phenomenal food to complement.
