Julia and Aaron met during Julia's time in Annapolis, Maryland. While she was in school at the United States Naval Academy, the two happened to attend the same local church. In Julia's junior year at the Academy, her friends wanted to get a fun church group to go to the Naval Academy Ring Dance together. Being good friends with Aaron from church, they asked him if he'd go along to the dance with her. They later told Julia that she was taking Aaron to the Ring Dance. No "ifs, ands, or buts!" After that fun evening of dancing, Aaron and Julia became good friends. It was not until many months later, however, that Aaron confessed his feelings of interest for her. Quite caught off guard, Julia eventually agreed to a date, and the romance began from there. Putting Jesus first in their relationship has been the silver lining for their progress as a couple. As they've grown from good friends to best friends, they have decided to continue their close friendship for the rest of their lives! They are so excited to share this day with you!
