We're getting married!

Two Texas kids. One University in Phoenix, Arizona (Go 'Lopes). One mutual nickname used by friends (Tex). Just 2 best friends that fell in love. When we finally met each other out in Phoenix and realized we were both from Dallas, TX we instantly became best friends. We talked every day and started learning everything there was to know about each other. Finally, a couple of months into being "just friends", we decided to start dating. Best decision EVER. Fast forward through a year and a half of long-distance (17 hours apart!), living together for 2 years, and now a dog (Bruno the Boxer!)...Austin put a ring on it! Yes. We decided to spend the rest of our lives together, check out the proposal story below!

What a day! Hailey was told she would be taking senior photos with her younger brother in Dallas and Austin told her he'd be gone all day golfing with friends. Her mom and brother drove her to the most beautiful location, The Botanical Gardens, where she thought she was taking pictures with her brother until she saw her handsome guy waiting for her at the end of the garden in a tux...holding a ring, on one knee. No, she had NO idea. Yes, it was a COMPLETE surprise. Yes, friends and family were there to celebrate this special day with them (they were also a complete surprise). Kudos Austin, now no more lying about your whereabouts.
