John and I met in the summer of 2019 playing against each other at a mutual friend's mixed doubles tennis birthday tournament, I won of course! We only spoke a few words that day, but I remember thinking he was so cute and looking him up after. I could only find his Facebook, and it looked like it hadn't been updated since high school. If you know him, this makes sense, because he's basically anti-social media! Luckily, I ran into him about a month later at a bar in South End when he was out for his birthday! This time we talked and danced along with the band all night! He invited me to his pool for his birthday party the next day, and we have basically been inseparable ever since!

John had been planning his trip to the 2023 Rugby World Cup since before we even started dating! So, when he asked me if I wanted to tag along all I could think was, "Paris? Of course I'll come!!". Little did I know when we started planning our excursion, it would be the best trip of our lives! John planned a whole day to the small mountain city in the French Alps, Annecy. Which we continually said wrong until we were corrected several times by locals! Annecy is by far the most beautiful place I have ever been and we went on the most perfect day! When we were heading to dinner John wanted to "see the lake at Golden Hour" so we ended up on a bridge called Pont des Amours (Bridge of Love), and little did I know there was a photographer waiting to capture the perfect moment!
