“How did y’all meet?” – depends on who you ask! One of us will say our neighborhood bookstore, the other will say a Superbowl party. Once we started dating, we were inseparable !! When asked, Mary Margaret said she liked Jacob’s authenticity, kindness and silliness, and Jacob said he liked MM's honesty about her emotions, her bright eyes, and the fact that she wasn't afraid of ~falling in like~. We established early on that our priorities were to 1. Be honest and 2. Try our best - and 15 months later, we are still in the business of both (not to mention having as much fun as humanly possible) with God’s help. We never could have predicted the kind of story God would write for us; one intertwining us a decade before we ever even met, one of great depth and redemption and grace. We knew from early on in dating that God had been forming us for the other since we were kids. Relationships are truly two messy people fumbling through life, but with God, it has been the most joyful, redeeming, exhilarating experience of our lives.
