Maid of Honor
My soul-sister I found on my journey in elementary education at Oakland University. After having multiple classes with this young lady we finally went out on a girls night to downtown Rochester. Oh to be a fly on the wall in those bars. We must have looked as if we have been friends for years. You wouldn't believe how much we have in common. Taylor is truly my number one, soul sister, shoulder and confidence booster.
Bridesmaid
Abby is another friend who I met on my elementary education college journey. Abby is one friend who i can one million percent rely on to make me laugh. Abby is the number one friend that I can rely on for adventures, restaurant recommendations and advice in general. A friend that is so funny but so sweet and will be such an amazing teacher and I know will be an amazing bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid
The newest married women in our group! Emily is the last of the teacher group but most defiantly not the least. Emily is another friend who I met that can make me laugh and will laugh at anything I say as well (which may have gotten me in trouble in college classes). She has such a beautiful soul and loving heart. I was so happy to watch her marry the love of her life and now I am so happy she will be next to me while I marry mine.
Bridesmaid
Maddie was a friend I was not expecting. A friend that though I may have been unexpecting, but a friend that was set in the stars for me. Maddie and I were made as partners as Rho Gammas during our sorority recruitment. (Yellow Nugs Forever). I am so blessed we were matched. Maddie is a friend that I can rely on, and trust with all of my soul. I am so excited for her to be apart of my bridal party and to celebrate endlessly with her.
Bridesmaid
Dominique is Austin's older sister who has become a sister of mine. Growing up with two brothers (who actually went to elementary with Dominique), I have dreamt of having a big sister and am so thankful that I am going into a family where I get more than one! I love Dom like she is a sister that I never had and know that she is here to watch and protect me, as well as offer the best advice when needed.
Bridesmaid
Calli is Austins's baby sister and one year younger than me. Calli is such a beautiful young girl, and even though she's only one year younger than me, she's the little sister I've always wanted. She is so passionate and determined and I know she will be the absolute best in whatever she sets her heart to. With it currently being veterinary school...I think it is where she is supposed to be without a doubt. I am so excited for her to be by my side on this special day!
Best Man
If you knew me and then met my brother, you'd swear there was no way we could be related. I can barely turn a wrench without breaking something, while he can design something and build it from scratch like he's been doing it since he was 2. Those differences aside, I think taking a step back and seeing my brother for who he is reveals a lot more. My brother is the guy you can count on to show up at 2:00 in the morning when you've got a flat tire to help. He's the guy who would give you the shirt off his back if it made your day better. Overall, he's the most driven and generous person I've been blessed to know. In the end, I couldn't imagine another person who better exemplifies what it means to be a great person.
Groomsman
In eighth grade, Algebra I with Mr. Hennessey, I met Shawn. He was new to the school, transferred from Port Huron, and began taking classes with us. Shortly after the class started, I realized he was a nerd. But that was okay, because I was, too, along with all the other friends in my group. So it only made sense that Shawn fit right in and was quickly an integral member of our group. Fast forward to 2012, we graduated high school and had to make our future decisions. Shawn and I both deferred college for a year, choosing to attend MSU in Fall 2013. That went exactly as planned, except neither of us enrolled in MSU and wound up at Oakland. Ultimately, though, I think it worked out for us. Our time at OU was great, we grew as friends and I genuinely see Shawn as a brother to me.
Groomsman
I met Dan on the first day of college, as one of my assigned roommates. Truth be told, I was fairly certain Dan hated me through the first 2/3rds of the year. But then came the time to decide on the next year's roommates and we both decided to keep each other as roommates. As we progressed through college, we grew as friends. Essentially living with someone for 4 years, you'll either learn to love the person or you'll kill them. And as you can tell, we're both still living so I guess we came to a mutual agreement of tolerating the other. All jokes aside, Dan was a great roommate and a great person to meet on move-in day. He made the college experience fun, he was a great friend to talk to, and even when we go without talking for extended periods we still pick up right where we left off.
Groomsman
When Amy and I first started dating, Michael provided the conversation at the dinner table to prevent the awkward silences that come with meeting your significant other's family. The first dinner I had at Amy's house consisted of question after question about the Red Wings, the NHL, and whether I was actually good at hockey or not. Fortunately he's seen me play now, so he knows the answer to the last one is resounding "no". Throughout the time I've been with Amy, Michael has really grown to be like a brother to me. He's helped us as we've moved into our apartment (and now our rental home), he's introduced us to Sagano, hosted multiple bonfires, and owned Lola. Michael has been there to help Amy and me from day one and for that I'm incredibly grateful.

Brian is also Amy's older brother and he, too, played an integral role in keeping the awkward silences at dinner away. Unfortunately, between college and his career, he has spent most of his time away on the other side of the state. However, when we do meet up it's always a great time and he's more than willing to give advice and assist when he can. I look forward to having him be a part of my party and to celebrate this day with us. Hopefully, in the future, he'll find his way back to this side of the state so we can spend more time together.
