After spending sophomore-senior year as acquaintances at QU, Kev was convinced he got a date with Brianne when she invited him to a Bruce Springsteen concert. The show was a blast and the conversation on the ride home had Kev certain a goodnight kiss was in the cards. As he pulled up to her apartment, he leaned in and just like that *POOF* she was gone....for about 10 years. Until the two matched on Bumble in 2018 and went out for drinks in NYC. In spite of all the time which had passed, Brianne & Kevin had the same easy chemistry they shared in college. Bri was pleased to see that Kev had matured (just a little) and still knew how to make her laugh. Kev was relieved that Bri maintained her contagious smile and big heart. Earlier this year Kev knew it was time to pop the question. The only problem was, the purchased ring was locked up due to the pandemic. Brianne introduced Kevin to the song "Diamonds or Twine" and it quickly became a favorite. The song's message seemed especially fitting during this time as the ring was temporarily unavailable. Kevin improvised and proposed to Brianne with a delicate braided "twine" ring. After a couple months as businesses slowly opened, Kevin surprised Brianne with a second proposal with her diamond ring in one of their favorite spots. During both proposals, Kev did his best to have our song playing in the background. We are so lucky to have reconnected all these years later and cannot wait to share our wedding day with everyone. Thanks so much for being a part of it!
