There we were in Marine Ecology class. Kevin was a senior and Whitney a sophomore who immediately caught his eye. Through different group activities, he finally got up the courage to start passing her notes in class, constantly pursuing her but his clever notes never seemed to land just right. She obviously had not developed her proper taste in men just yet! Fast forward 6-7 years and they ended up in the same group of friends but with different significant others at the time. Even though their friendship grew a bit, it wouldn’t be until almost a decade later that things would finally start between the two. After a couple of dates in 2018, the timing seemed to finally sync up between the two in early 2019 and they became inseparable! Whitney sent Kevin a message wishing him safe travels on his trip to Asia the day before he left and the two didn’t go a day without talking to each other from the other side of the world. When he got back, they reunited a couple days later and the rest is history!
