We got married!

We planned a small getaway to Carmel by the Sea to celebrate our 1 year and 10 months anniversary. Morris insisted on taking me to the beach because he knew it’s one of my top favorite places to be (so it didn’t take much convincing). We also planned to do a mini photoshoot (so I had no suspicion about the camera). After enjoying a very scenic day together we stopped at Pebble Beach. While we were taking our nice long walk on the beach, we talked about how blessed and grateful we are to God who brought us together. How much we love, value, and appreciate one another. How this relationship has been nothing short of a beautiful blessing to us. And how we’ve never had a love like this. Then Morris said he wouldn’t want to spend the rest of his life with anyone else (and he’s said this to me before but he had a certain tone in his voice that made this conversation feel a bit different though). I mayyyy have grown an inch of suspicion right there but before I knew it, he was down on one knee with that charming smile and stunning ring in hand! I was so surprised but so, so happy. Of course I said yes, because being by Morris’ side is better than perfect, it’s just right, God given and led, and there’s no one else I would want to spend the rest of my life with either.
