For those traveling from NYC

Answer

We recommend you take the Metro North train to Beacon. Trains depart from Grand Central Station and take approximately 1hr and 30mins to arrive in Beacon. Schedules and tickets are available on the MTA Train Time app. From the train station you can take a taxi or Uber to your hotel.

For those flying in

Answer

We recommend flying into an NYC airport (EWR/JFK/LGA) and either taking an uber up to Beacon, renting a car, or traveling into the city and taking the train (see section about traveling from NYC for train details). If taking an Uber from the airport Newark is closest to Beacon. It is approximately a 1hr 45min drive from the airport, depending on traffic.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No, there are Ubers and taxis in the Beacon area and shuttles will be provided to and from the venue on the day of the wedding for those staying at the Hilton or Marriott in Fishkill.

What does "black tie optional" mean?

Answer

Black tie optional means formal attire with the option to wear black tie. A tuxedo/black tie is welcome but not required. A suit and tie, floor-length gown, elegant cocktail dress, dressy pantsuit or similar are all appropriate. Use this as guidance, please wear what makes you feel your best.
