Our celebration will take place in a beautiful tented setting at the Grove at Cheley. September in Colorado can bring warm days but cooler evenings, so we suggest bringing a light sweater to stay comfortable as temperatures drop. In early September, Estes Park enjoys mild to warm daytime temperatures, generally ranging from the mid-60s to the low 80s °F. However, temperatures can drop considerably in the evenings, often falling into the 40s or 50s °F.
Our wedding will be elevated garden party, which means we’re looking for elegant yet relaxed attire. For men, this could be a suit or dress pants with a button-up shirt, and for women, a nice dress or a stylish jumpsuit. Please note that jeans are not allowed. Additionally, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. While we do have a dance floor, please be aware that the ground may be uneven due to the natural terrain. We look forward to celebrating with you in style and comfort!
Altitude sickness is uncommon but can affect some, so here are a few tips before your travel to Estes Park: - Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water prior to and during your travels - Take It Easy: Avoid overexertion during the first day or two, listen to your body, and rest when needed. - Ascend Gradually: If you’re more susceptible to elevation sickness, consider spending a day or two closer to the Denver area. Denver sits at about 5,200 feet in elevation, while Estes Park sits at 7,500 feet. - Take Extra Precaution with Alcohol: one drink at sea level will feel like two here!
