Make an extended weekend out of it! While you are here you should definitely check out Ouray, "The Switzerland of America". It is 30 minutes from the venue. Telluride is also 1hr 30min away around the mountain. These areas in the San Juans have plenty of hikes, are popular mountain towns, and have scenic drives. Black Canyon of Gunnison National Park is also close and is well worth it!
