It was love at first swipe. We matched on Tinder and then quickly agreed to go on two dates at Disney Word 2 days in a row (bold choice, we know). But as it turned out we had so much in common and here we are 7+ years later and excited to celebrate with all of you!

When I was ready to propose to Brandon I suggested that we take photos for our Christmas card at a special event at Maymont in Richmond. I was anxiously agonizing over minuscule details (because it wasn't just for the Christmas card). After we took some photos Brandon went to turn away and when they turned back I was down on one knee. A few tears and a "YES" later we were engaged!

When Peter and I first started talking about marriage, we always knew that we both wanted the opportunity to propose. We had been planning a trip to see our friends, Joey and Madison, in Indiana and I knew it was the perfect opportunity to propose in a special but private way. Utilizing Joey and Madison's backyard deck, I surprised Peter with an intimate proposal with flowers and some fairy lights under the stars in Indiana. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you! See you in Richmond!
