When and where do I RSVP?

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Yes! There is a large parking lot next to Pierre's Restaurant. We have also reserved a trolley to take guests staying at Amara Cay to Pierre's and home at the end of the reception as well as the after party.

What is the recommended attire for the reception?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested for the wedding (long dresses recommended as it can get chilly, suits/sport jacket for men). For footwear, please keep in mind the ceremony and reception will take place in hard-packed sand (block heel/wedges would be fine). After the sun goes down, it can get a bit chilly so you may want to pack a sweater.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have secured a room block at Amara Cay! If you are interested in booking a house with friends, we recommend looking into the Bayside Villas, they are also within walking distance of the wedding venue. We also recommend Cheeca Lodge, the Sunset Inn, Breezy Palms, and checking for local Airbnb's.

How far is the wedding venue from the airport? Are there Ubers in Islamorada?

Answer

Islamorada is about an hour and a half from Miami International Airport, and roughly two hours from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. There tends to be traffic on Friday afternoons, so try to get an early flight in! We recommend renting a car from the airport so that you have freedom to explore the Keys, but you could also arrange for a shuttle (see travel page) or take an Uber. Depending on demand, uber trips to/from the airport can be pricey.
