IMPORTANT: This is where you will find the dress code and other information.
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. This means that the men will wear suits, black slacks, button-up shirt, nice shoes, etc. The women will wear dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, etc. Please do not wear white in order to respect the bride.

Question

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

The wedding colors are burgundy, pale pink, and gold. Please wear outfits that correspond with this theme so we can get wonderful photographed shots of the event.

Question

Will there be food at the reception?

Answer

Yes, we will have dinner served buffet-style after the wedding ceremony. We are going to have a taco bar and this will include gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free options.

Question

Will there be dessert?

Answer

Yes, there will be a various assortment of desserts available for guests. This will include vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free dessert for our guests with food sensitivities or restrictions.

Question

Are the ceremony and reception going to be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be outside. It will be at the mother and father of the bride's house, and it will be in the backyard alongside the apple trees. Please wear shoes that are comfortable for walking on grass (there will not be much walking, though).

Question

What is the theme of the wedding?

Answer

The theme is romantic, antique, and sentimental.

Question

How many people are attending?

Answer

This is going to be a fairly small wedding. We have invited just over fifty people to attend, and there may be less that are able to come. We have no desire to leave anyone out of our special day, but we have to think of the bride's health as she has chronic illnesses and pain that affect her ability to attend large events.

Question

Will there be a photographer?

Answer

Yes, the bride's sister-in-law, Christina Corrin, will be photographing the event. Due to this, there are no outside cameras allowed and phones will remain put away as it is an unplugged ceremony and reception. Violation of this rule will result in Christina Corrin having to cancel her services, which will be a negative experience for the bride and groom.

Question

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?

Answer

No, there will be no alcohol. We want to enjoy our special day with you without any distractions or inhibitions. Please respect this and do not bring any of your own alcohol to the event.
