Beautiful beach, peaceful surf, and local dining. There are places nearby where you can rent bicycles, kayaks, snorkeling gear, stand up paddle boards etc.

La Jolla Shores Beach

Down at the cove you'll see plenty of seals, people snorkeling, and paddle boarding. Parking is difficult so prepare to drive around for a bit before finding parking.
