What time should I arrive at the Ceremony site?

Answer

You need to park your car by 4pm at the latest. It takes time to get up to the ceremony site. You will either need to purchase a ticket for the skylift, or take a steep one-mile hike to arrive. Leave time for getting turned around. It is likely you will have no phone service near the state park.

How do I get to the ceremony site?

Answer

If coming from Cincinatti, or Lexington direction, get off the highway at exit 33. Take a left turn and continue on route 11 (natural Bridge road) for two miles. You will pass Miguel's pizza on your left, and will see the first entrance to Natural Bridge State park on your right a few hundred yards after. Take a right into the park. If you're riding the lift, take a right. If hiking, take a left.

Riding the Skylift?

Answer

Ride in luxury: you can take the skylift high above the trees.To do this you will take a right turn once you have entered into the main entrance of natural bridge state park. Follow the road for about a half mile, and the skylift will be on the left. The fee is $17 round trip, $11 one-way. You will need to purchase your ticket at the ticket window, ride to the top, and then take a left under the skylift at the top for a short flat hike to the ceremony site (about 300 yards).

How do I hike to the ceremony site?

Answer

If you are hiking, take the first right after entering the state park. Drive to the end of the road and park. hike to the end of the parking lot to the trailhead entrance which is on the right and begins steeply up the hill. Continue up the trail until you get on top of natural bridge. Cross the bridge, and continue straight down the trail, past the top of the skylift until the trail dead ends at the ceremony site.

Phone reception will be very spotty or non-existent. So please make plans ahead of time. That being said, here are some people that you may be able to get a hold of if you have reception. Answer

It will likely be a hot ceremony. Wear something nice, but comfortable. Nothing super formal. Come to celebrate!

Where is the reception?

Answer

192 Tuliptree Dr., Campton, KY 41301. There will be a caravan leaving from the Natural Bridge to the reception site. Make sure you follow someone who knows how to get there!
