Question

Why a full weekend wedding?

Answer

Austin and I are passionate about the magical experience that is camping in these great mountains. We wanted to capture the rustic essence of a camping experience with the creature comforts of a weekend get away! We hope its a wedding you will never forget!

Question

Whats up with the cabins?

Answer

Included in our venue are the four lower A-frame cabins Hummingbird, Spruce, Lark and Moose. They each have 10 bunks and sleep 10-12 guests each. They are bunk style beds and do not come with any bedding, so bring whatever you need to get a good night sleep! (Blanket, sleeping bag, pillow, ect.) They each come equipped with a small fridge, microwave and grill on deck, so feel free to bring any snacks or drinks you may want during your stay! They do not have bathrooms in them, all cabin guests will use the Crows Nest bathhouse located directly above Moose cabin. If there are still unclaimed bunks by the time of the wedding anyone is welcome to them if you change your mind about staying! We encourage anyone who will be drinking moderately to stay the night on site with us or in a hotel/ lodge in town. Don't drink and drive.

Question

What's up with the Bathhouse?

Answer

The Crows nest bathhouse is located directly above Moose cabin and is accessible via a small staircase. You may bring any towels or toiletries you'll need to shower and get ready so you feel and look your best on Saturday!

Question

So no kids?

Answer

No babies or toddlers. Older children are welcome. We ask anyone with toddlers or babies to find a sitter and enjoy a diaper-free weekend with us! If you are wanting to stay the night with a child and do not want to share a space with other guests in the cabins, we encourage you to book a hotel in town or reserve one of the apartment style lodgings available soon via airbnb.

Question

BYOB?

Answer

We will be providing some canned drinks, wine and a keg or two, as well as some non alcoholic options and plenty of water! We strongly encourage you to bring your own beer, seltzer, cider, wine, or other non alcoholic drinks. WE WILL NOT BE PROVIDING OR ALLOWING ANY HARD LIQUOR, MIXED DRINKS, OR SHOTS. Since we will be spending our time at 9,000 feet elevation we want to be responsible with our alcohol consumption. This means PACE YOURSELF. DRINK WATER. EAT FOOD BEFORE AND DURING DRINKING. KNOW YOUR LIMIT. BE SAFE. (If any of you get fucked up and ruin my wedding I swear to god - Austin)

Question

How many meals will be provided if we stay the night?

Answer

The only full meal provided will be the reception dinner on Saturday. There will be grazing tables provided throughout the day on Saturday as well so you can snack at your leisure! Friday dinner and Saturday & Sunday breakfast will be up to you. You are more than welcome to bring any kind of food to cook either in the kitchens or your provided microwaves and grills in the cabins. There are also plenty of places to order takeout or dine in a short drive down the mountain.
