Our Happy Beginning!

Morgyn and Travis met at a club called Club Rodeo in Wichita, KS. Originally, Morgyn and her friends were not planning to go out on that Friday night, but decided last minute to head to Club Rodeo. Travis rarely went to any clubs or bars in general, but went to celebrate a friend’s 21st birthday. It was late in the evening when Travis walked up to Morgyn and asked her to dance. Of course, she said yes! What else would you do when a tall, blonde, and handsome man walked up to you and asked you to dance. They danced for two or three songs in a row along side Morgyn’s two best friends Tiff and Tiana who were smiling and giving the thumbs up the whole time. Travis asked Morgyn for her Snapchat which, of course, she gave him and did not talk the rest of the night but Travis kept his eye on her the whole time. A few days later, Travis sends Morgyn a message on Snapchat and they decided to go on a first date!

We have been together for about 4 years and 8 months now! Morgyn was definitely passed hinting now at this point, if you know her you know. Christmas Eve, we are all in Texas with Morgyn's family having a good time cooking, baking, and singing away in the kitchen. Morgyn's mom, Tinson, had asked her about when she thought Travis would ask her to marry him and Morgyn said I honestly have no clue but I doubt anytime soon. Later that afternoon, we are sitting around the kitchen and Travis found a RingPop, which is a running joke between us. He takes the RingPop and tosses it at Morgyn and says "here is your ring." Her whole family starts dying laughing because it was funny. Well, Morgyn did not find that funny at all! The rest of the day it was the running joke and everyone made fun of Morgyn because of how upset she got. Finally, Morgyn gave Travis an ultimatum saying she is not waiting 6 years which Travis responds with "just calm down." Moving on to Christmas Day! After breakfast we begin to open presents. Of course, us kids have to go first and we all begin opening gifts. At the end of every Christmas, Gami always gives us three kids one group gift that we all get to open together. We were told to open it at the same time and pace, so the surprise isn't ruined and we agreed. We begin opening and it is empty box after empty box after empty box! Finally, we get to our last boxes and Morgyn's is a pretty red and white box. Morgyn said is this it!? We can open it!? Everyone yells yes and Morgyn opens the box. Inside, their are two ornaments. One said "can I say something crazy?" The other said "will you marry me?" Travis was down on one knee next to Morgyn and says you might want to stand up now. Morgyn is in complete shock, so shocked she couldn't even get out the word yes for a while! Finally, she says yes! Everyone was so happy and there was so much joy and excitement throughout the whole house! Truly a magical Christmas Day which of course had to have a little Disney magic as well!
